Award-Winning Customer Service Rep Says Teamwork is Key

The Customer Service Group's Frontline Spotlight Award honors customer service rep for outstanding teamwork during swine-flu pre-pandemic.

(Boonton, NJ, Sep 24, 2009) — Christina Bonvillain has worked in customer service for AOSS Medical Supply, Inc. in Monroe, LA, for four and a half years, and has managed the customer service department since January 2009.

One of her first goals when she became supervisor was to instill in her staff the notion that "We are not just individuals sitting here, we are a team. And, we are not going to get anything accomplished if we don't act like a team."

It was this attitude coupled with solid examples of teamwork during the swine flu pre-pandemic that led William Harrison, director of marketing for AOSS to nominate Bonvillain for recognition in the Customer Service Group's Frontline Spotlight Award.

"During that first swine flu pre-pandemic period," says Harrison, "we were often here until midnight putting together packages of face masks. Christina, and others, didn't have to stay, but they did. And, that's part of what customer service is all about."
